processing

Helen passed away last night. Her decline was surprisingly rapid and I did not expect her to die quiet so soon, so we are still processing. As per her pre-arrangement there is no funeral or visitation. This still bothers me a little, though at least I was prepared for that. When Mark's father died we did not know this ahead of time.
These are fall crocus, from my neighbors yard.
Bright springlike flowers in the fall.

Shalom

This is a nice picture with your post. A spring crocus is always a sign of hope so may it remind us of our hope in the resurrection. I am sorry for your loss. It's hard. You are all in my prayers and thoughts.

Things happen so fast sometimes that we can't quite get a grip....God will meet you in these hours and days. Our prayers are with your family.
